| Last formal night on Silver Wind, 18 April 2015. Note the hand tied bow tie and the significant (to me) lapel pin. You'll have to read future entries to find out what the "L" means. |

I'll be posting my first entry addressing our pre-cruise day in Singapore in a few days. It's entitled, ALWAYS DIFFERENT BUT OPPRESSIVELY THE SAME AND THE WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK. We've been back in Boulder for a few weeks now. The Silver Wind's food and service were the best ever, and the Singapore to Athens itinerary was both nostalgic and full of new experiences. It's been twenty years since my visits to the ports between Singapore and Athens. Things change. I change.
I've reflected on the trip for a while. Uncharacteristically I was a bit behind in reviewing the pictures and finding this report's "voice". Barbara posted her first entry last week. So suddenly I'm motivated. I have some great shots and a bunch of comments to share. And with Barbara's obsession with facts I can give my usual commentary with a clear heart. As readers of my earlier trip reports have concluded, I look at travel as an opportunity to enjoy the performance art of the experiences. This trip was no exception, maybe even more so.
Barbara's first entry is already up at the same blogspot.com host with prefix "barbara-landandsea2015."
Stay tuned.
